I’m going to my favorite sushi restaurant

I love the people there, they’re always very sweet
I sit down at the table, I just can’t wait to eat

I get miso soup and dumplings just to start
I can feel the joy pound in my heart

The chefs start working hard and put it on the slab
There’s so much seaweed, rice, and imitation crab
Waiter brings wasabi for the spice
And I test it and it tastes especially nice
Please be sure to bring me extra rice

My food has now arrived and now I feel alright
I get my chopsticks out and eat it with delight
The flavor’s perfect and the texture’s perfect too
And if you eat with me, I’ll save one just for you
Once the meal is done, I go to pay
